How Twist & Spout Prepares For Success On Every Household Remodeling Project
Successful home remodeling in Northwest Arkansas doesn’t happen by accident. What you see as the finished product is the result of plenty of behind-the-scenes work.
As a rule, that work begins in the preparation stage. The better your chosen contractor prepares, the higher the odds they’ll provide you with the home upgrades of your dreams.
At Twist & Spout, we take this universal principle very seriously. On each project, we take multiple steps to ensure that we’re completely ready to go when installation day arrives.
Our meticulous preparation not only allows us to account for every detail of the remodeling process. It’s the key to producing elite results time and time again for homeowners just like you.
The Process Starts With Our Owner, Eric
At some home remodeling companies, the owners don’t get that involved in day-to-day operations. Instead, they hire someone to work out the details of each upcoming project.
There’s nothing wrong with this approach, at least in principle. Things can go smoothly if the designated employee does their job well.
But to be honest, we’ve tried it, and it doesn’t work for us. In more ways than one, the process was just too cumbersome to meet our company standards.
That’s why we use a different model – owner-led project preparation. Eric, Twist & Spout’s founder and owner, takes the lead on every project that comes through our doors.
This direct input ensures that your remodel gets our full attention. It also helps ensure that our installation teams are ready to go when they arrive at your home.
Daily Check-Ins With Each Installation Crew
Clear communication is an essential part of our advance project prep. We don’t just do this by text, phone, or email. We meet in person at the start of almost every workday. At these meetings, we go over a range of issues, including:
- Scheduling for upcoming and current projects
- Any needs our installation crews may have
- Specific goals for the current workday
- Any problems we’ve encountered
Eric oversees these meetings. Along with our crew leads, he makes sure all relevant details are thoroughly covered.
We find that this face-to-face communication is the quickest, most effective way to confirm that everyone’s on the same page. It helps us start each day fully prepared to do outstanding work on your remodeling project.
The CompanyCam App
It’s one of the world’s oldest cliches, but it’s also true. A picture is worth a thousand words.
When our crews head out to work on your home, we want them to be ready for whatever comes their way. Written notes and verbal descriptions can help prepare them. But nothing beats actual photos of the job site.
That’s why we rely on a phone-based app called CompanyCam on every project. CompanyCam is a documentation and management tool. We use it to take photos from the very beginning of the remodeling process.
These photos are entered directly into our project workflow. They’re readily available to every person at Twist & Spout who needs to access them.
That includes our installation crews. Before beginning their day, each crew goes over the relevant photos in CompanyCam.
As a result, they have a clear visual record of the current state of your project. This information helps them make all necessary preparations. It also helps them avoid any unwanted surprises.
The outcome for our customers? Installers who know exactly what to do when they arrive onsite. That’s the kind of planning that allows us to work hard, work fast, and fulfill your remodeling dreams.
